As a former therapist myself, I know exactly what it feels like to try (and try and try) to create a therapy website that looks and sounds like you. I started this business because I knew there had to be a simpler, less intimidating, non-frustrating way to create this essential part of your business.

My Story

(aka how the heck I became a website designer for therapists)

2018 was a big year for me. First, I became a mom. And second, I discovered that I was head-over-heels for making websites in Squarespace.

As a full-time private practice therapist, I loved my client work, but I also loved helping other therapists grow their businesses. That year, I began offering marketing consultations and business coaching to fellow clinicians.

I noticed many of my therapist-clients really struggled with making websites. It was hard for them to find the right words (and for some reason, they couldn’t stop using the same stock images of oceans and stacked up rocks).

So I thought, “I don’t know everything, but I know I can help with this.” And with that, I offered to make my very first client website. Cue the clouds parting and the cherubs singing and all of that. I was all in.

I signed up for Standout Squarespace to learn to code and then the Selling Templates Masterclass to learn how to craft and sell website templates that are beautiful and easy to use.

Flash-forward to now, and I have created dozens of custom websites and have helped hundreds of therapists make their own websites through my templates and the education I share on my blog.

I want to keep adding more layers of support and keep finding ways to make things simpler so that nothing stands in the way of you having the website you imagine in your head.

The process of making a website helps you get clear on what you want. When you put your clear message out in the world, it makes it real. And it helps attract more of what you want, making your work life better. Better work-life means less burnout. And less burnout means you can help more clients.

I opened my eyes one morning, and it popped into my head clear as day.

I thought, “What do I want my clients to do? Grow…blossom…bloom!”

I want therapists to take what I offer and run with it. To make something completely unique and totally their own. To step fully into their own business and create something that just works for them–even if it’s different from what works for their colleagues.

Because that is the beauty of private practice– it can become whatever you make it.
